Music - K-4^th Grade 

The children learn the basic rudimennts of music such as different notations, beats form, melodic pattern, rhythm, pitch, tone color, harmony, scale etc. For 3^rd and 4^th graders, they learn to play the recorder as an application of their knowledge of the rudiments of music. Aside from learning theories, the children learn to perform on stage on certain occasions. Right now, we are preparing for the visit of the sisters of Mercy from the mainland next week October 23, 2008. For the second quarter, the children will learn songs for Christmas pageant titled “Amahl and The Night Visitors.” The children are expected to appreciate and perform in front of an audience.
